Solemn Assembly

2017 Spring Consecration April 10 - 14
Every member who is willing and able should make a sincere effort to conform to the following outline during Solemn Assembly Week. All saints are asked to fast according to their health and other conditions.

The following options are being offered during the fast (refraining from eating or drinking anything):

Option 1:
Begin fasting from Sunday midnight until Wednesday a 4:00 PM, then eat one meal. Resume fasting until Thursday eating one meal after 4:00 PM. Continue fasting until after 4:00 PM on Friday.

Option 2:
Monday - Friday, fast from midnight until 4:00 PM each day. Eat one daily meal after 4:00 PM.

The Foot Washing and Communion Services will conclude our Solemn Assembly Week, Friday Night starting at 6:00 PM.

During the week of Consecration, Saints are asked to refrain from watching television, Facebook, Twitter, Social Media, Internet, listening to the radio, reading newspaper or books unless pertaining to our job or school. Only necessary phone calls should be made during this week.
